Muinteoir Fiona's pupils had a lovely trip to the National Park Education Centre on Monday and they worked with Scientist Siobhán for the day. They learnt about all the local animals and were able to make their own clay animals on the tree trunks. Their highlights were handling the wild bank vole which was caught in a live trap, trying to spot red and sika deer and of course splashing in puddles. A great day was had by all!
